System: PF2E
Status: Alive...ish? (Undead, Blood Lords AP)
Race: Umbral Gnome, Ghoul
Class: Necromancer
Even while alive, the lack of adventure in Geb always drew Marrow's ire. Unable to find regular work even as a necromancer, he regularly went hungry. Eventually his suffering would come to and end, as while he lay at death's door, on the brink of starvation, he was finally put out of his misery by a ravenous ghoul.
But his suffering was not over. Returning as an undead, he immediately felt the hunger again (this time for flesh. He immediately turned to his necromantic powers to manifest physical beings like when he lived. He didn't want to have to deal with the constraitns of society, nor an empty stomach. Instead, he found his new (un)life left him only able to control incorporeal spirits.
Tired of constant scrounging for meager scraps, Marrow eventually joined the Reanimators under the guise of helping with the city's "restocking" efforts. He happily restocked his personal pantry, and his hunger problems were solved... or so he thought. Missing bones, missing hands, a limb or two for a holiday feast... all these parts added up until it could no longer be ignored, and he was released from service.
Now Marrow seeks new ways to work himself back into a system that will no longer leave him yearning and hungry.
